On a visit to the Hadassah Medical Center in November, delegates from Villiers le Bel, France were addressed by Dr. Michel Nadjari, head of the Hadassah Medical Center’s Ultrasound Department, who told them about Hadassah’s latest high-technology ultrasound equipment, which is enabling Hadassah to save more lives. They also were briefed on the important role Hadassah plays in sharing expertise with colleagues worldwide, and Hadassah’s extensive outreach to the Palestinian community.

Politicians, journalists, and representatives of the prestigious TESA Foundation from Argentina visited the Hadassah Medical Center this fall and were most impressed to learn about Hadassah’s clinical outreach to their country and glad to meet Hadassah’s renowned endovascular neurosurgeon and interventional neuroradiologist, Prof. José Cohen, formerly from Argentina. Prof. Cohen described his cutting-edge work in Hadassah’s Neurosurgery Department.

When a sonogram detected a mass in a 19-week-old fetus, the pregnant woman was referred to the Hadassah Medical Center, where Dr. Michel Nadjari, head of Hadassah’s Ultrasound Department, identified it as a large fetal sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT), a tumor made up of tissues from the three layers of embryonic cells.
