Women’s Health Center Offers New Service

To provide women who suffer from debilitating symptoms during menstruation with a comprehensive understanding of their condition and ways to alleviate the distress, Hadassah’s Patricia and Russell Fleischman Woman’s Health Center is offering a new service: a free examination and consultation about alternative treatments to hysterectomy.
One of the newer treatments, “thermal ablation,” is a minimally invasive procedure that quickly and efficiently prevents the heavy bleeding without surgery. The treatment takes about eight minutes and does not require complete anesthesia or hospitalization. Thermal ablation has proven highly successful throughout the world. And the costs are covered by Israeli insurance!
