Graduate of Hadassah’s International Master of Public Health Program Becomes Permanent Secretary of Health in Fiji

A 1994-95 graduate of the International Master of Public Health (IMPH) Program of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine has been appointed Permanent Secretary of Health in her home country, Fiji.
Dr. Salanieta Saketa is succeeding another graduate of Hadassah’s IMPH Program. "I will never forget the year of training," relates Dr. Saketa "and I believe that Dr. Lepani Waqatakirewa and I are testimony to the excellent training we received at Hadassah-Hebrew University. I will continue to promote the training of future health leaders for Fiji at your esteemed institution."
