French Minister of Industry is Impressed by Medical Technology at Hadassah Medical Center

Eager to witness Hadassah’s advances in medical technology, HE Christian Estrosi, France’s Minister of Industry and Mayor of Nice, along with a delegation from his home country, toured the Hadassah Medical Center at the end of November, accompanied by Hadassah France President Michelle Israel.
The Minister viewed a demonstration of The Trilogy System, Hadassah’s high-technology radiotherapy system for patients with cancer, and heard a presentation from Hadasit Bio-Holdings Chief Executive Officer Ophir Shahaf about developments at Hadassah’s technology transfer company. Among the Minister’s delegation were representatives of French laboratories, who are eager to build partnerships with Israeli biotechnology companies.
Hadassah’s physicians also enlightened Minister Estrosi and his delegation about the Hadassah Medical Center’s collaborative ventures with French medical and scientific institutions such as Institut Gustave Roussy and the University of Nice.
